Ceremony marks a commitment, a welcome, a transition, a remembering.
At Selebrant, each ceremony is shaped deliberately, with attention to what matters and to the people at its centre.
Every ceremony is written from scratch and developed with you.

Weddings

I create non-religious wedding ceremonies that reflect who you are and the commitments you are choosing to make.
Each ceremony is shaped around your values, your story, and the tone that feels right for you. Some ceremonies are joyful and expansive, others quieter and more intimate.

What matters is that it feels true to you.

Celebration of life ceremonies

Celebration of life ceremonies offer a way to honour and remember someone who has died, while holding space for the people who remain.

These ceremonies are created using stories, memories, and the details that help commemorate the life being remembered.

These ceremonies are held outside of formal funeral services and do not take place with a body present.

Marking moments

Some moments do not need a full ceremony, but they do need to be marked.

Marking moments can stand alone or sit within a wider ceremony. They may recognise change, welcome a new chapter, acknowledge connection, or create space for reflection.

The structure, tone and content are developed gradually, with space to reflect, refine and make decisions together.

Writing and sign-off

The ceremony is written from scratch and refined with you, with a clear point of sign-off before the day.

Final preparation

As the ceremony approaches, wording and structure are agreed so everything can feel secure and settled.

The ceremony

On the day itself, my role is to guide the ceremony and hold the structure we have created together, so you can simply be present.

Introducing Juanita

My name is Juanita.

I’m the lead celebrant at Selebrant, and I’ll be taking you through your celebratory journey.

I came to this work through a long-held desire to help people mark the moments that matter in their lives.

Every ceremony I create is written from scratch and shaped in conversation with the people at its centre. My role is to listen carefully, guide the structure, and hold the ceremony so it can unfold with ease.

My commitment to you is to create the ceremonial experience to remember.
